Gateway Playhouse announces show tickets now on sale!

Dear Valued Patron and Friend of The Gateway,
Thank you for being a valued member of our family. We all hope everyone is doing well and staying safe indoors.
The Gateway Board of Directors and our limited staff have been closely monitoring the situation in regard to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and working diligently to make plans for our upcoming summer season. We feel strongly that The Gateway will have a vital role to play in bringing joy back to our community, and return some normalcy to all of our lives.
The curtain will go up on The Gateway’s summer season a little later than originally planned but we’re excited about our Main Stage shows this year and wanted to give you something to look forward to. Our Summer Season begins with “Evita,” (June 3), and is followed by “Next to Normal” (June 24); “Matilda the Musical” (July 15), “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” (Aug. 5) and “Newsies” (Aug. 26). The Concert Series will be as follows: “Best of the Eagles” (May 30); “Live and Let Die” (July 20, 21); “Yellow Brick Road” (Aug. 23); and “A Brothers Revival” (Aug. 24). Check out the full season, here.
Walk up sales have been suspended, but our phones are open. Individual ticket sales begin tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24th. If you have, or gave someone, a Gateway Gift Certificate, our exclusive day to purchase individual tickets before the general public is today, Monday, March 23rd! Use your Gateway Gift Certificate to pay for all or part of your order to take advantage of this opportunity.
In light of the current situation, we have made some important policy changes:
All Internet and handling fees are waived through April 12th. For all tickets purchased prior to June 3rd, we will offer free exchange privileges all summer
We ask for your patience as we work to accommodate your ticketing sales since we have now eliminated on-site staff and are working remotely with limited staff. If you have any questions, please call us at (631) 286-1133 or email your contact info to us at boxoffice@thegateway.org and let us know if you would like a call back or an email reply.
Please also consider making a donation to The Gateway when you purchase your tickets. As with all arts organizations, it is only possible through the support of its community, especially in this difficult time.
Thank you for your loyalty to The Gateway, YOUR non-profit performing arts center. We can’t do what we do without your support.
See you at the playhouse as soon as possible!
