The Gateway Playhouse and famed model and actress Isabella Rossellini have just announced an exciting new venture! Ms. Rossellini will be departing this fall on the world tour of her new one woman show Link Link Circus. After touring Europe and the US West Coast, she will be returning here to her home and her beloved Bellport, for two special benefit performances at The Gateway Playhouse! The shows will be on February 16th at 8 pm, and February 17th at 4pm.
Link Link Circus is “A smart yet comedic look at the links between humans and animals”. Ms. Rossellini, who holds a masters degree in Animal Behavior, has created a fascinating combination of humor and scientific lecture. The show, which is slightly over an hour long with no intermission, promises to be very informative and exceedingly funny. This is Ms. Rossellini’s second comedic animal lecture project after her popular Green Porno series that aired on Sundance Channel.
As mentioned, these are benefit performances and Ms. Rossellini was happy to announce that she is donating the proceeds of both shows to The Gateway Playhouse, and The Plaza Cinema and Media Arts Center. But wait, there’s more! A limited number of tickets are being sold separately for a very special event following the Sunday performance. Ms. Rossellini is hosting a fundraising dinner at her own home, with proceeds to benefit both non-profit organizations!
