Announced – Rosie the Reindeer and the Case of the Stolen Snow Globe at Act II Playhouse

AMBLER, PA – This holiday season Act II Playhouse is inviting families to a hilarious new Toyland mystery, Rosie the Reindeer and the Case of the Stolen Snow Globe, on stage in Ambler Dec. 8-28.
The magical snow globe was stolen from Santa’s sleigh … and Mrs. Claus needs Rosie to crack the case! Kids will help Rosie solve the mystery and save Christmas!
This world premiere comedy is written by Act II’s Communications and Education Director Bill D’Agostino, who previously authored the five hit Murray the Elf mysteries for Act II.
“Like the Murray the Elf shows, this is a silly but heartwarming mystery, full of colorful characters and loads of fun,” D’Agostino said. “We love inviting families to Act II for affordable, delightful entertainment around the holidays. What could be better than returning to Toyland for another mystery?”
Rosie the Reindeer and the Case of the Stolen Snow Globe is directed by Will Dennis, who played Murray in the previous mysteries but is now helming this new production.
“I’m so excited to revisit Toyland, this time from the other side of the boards,” Dennis said. “My five years playing Murray the Elf were truly some of my most joy-filled moments on stage and I look forward to audiences getting to experience the fun and energy of Toyland again – this time through the awesomely loveable Rosie the Reindeer.”
Hannah Parke stars as Rosie, the reindeer hired by Mrs. Claus to solve the new case. Parke was previously seen as the title character in Act II’s original comedy for kids, Zuzz the Alien Needs Your Help! Jenna Kuerzi plays all of the other characters, including Mrs. Claus, Fluffy the Elf, Charlie the Chocolatier, Hepburn the Penguin, and Dr. Quail the Inventor.
